Welcome to Resilient Recovery

“At Resilient Recovery, we believe that being welcomed and loved is what helps people stick with treatment and find long-term support through the church. The cards below were created by our participants to welcome others and to share what this community means to them.”

Because of your support, this community of welcome continues to grow

The Stay in Touch Research Study:

The comments below were collected by researchers from Arizona State University as part of a study conducted in collaboration with ASU, The Meros Center, and Norwegian attrition researcher Thomas Solgaard Svendsen. We see research as a form of ministry that can help participants name and solidify their gains as well as showing the research community a positive example of the Christian faith in action.

  • “I'm doing better. I'm becoming a stronger person. I'm becoming more responsible. It just made me realize what alcohol and drugs can do to a person, not just mentally, but physically too. I'm glad I'm getting my health back and I feel more focused during the day. I feel more healthy. I'm getting back into activities and hobbies again.”
