Most people in recovery want a greater emphasis on spirituality in their recovery programs.

RESILIENT RECOVERY GROUPS are a place to explore the riches of the Christian faith for recovery.

We don’t mandate that people believe in Jesus—anyone can join and share their opinion.

THE AUTHOR

Jason Jonker is a BHP and a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. He has over 20 years of experience working with families that struggle with addiction. He created Resilient Recovery Groups in collaboration with two pastors because he saw that too many recovery programs didn’t introduce addicts to Jesus or explain the gospel message.

Jason is in recovery and has been sober from alcohol and unhealthy anger for over 8 years. He knows what it it is like to take responsibility for his behavior and find forgiveness and mercy from Jesus.
