Your gifts make them feel welcome

On Tuesday nights, in church basements, in prison classrooms, and inside treatment centers, a table gets set for people who are recovering from addiction. Many arrive guarded, ashamed, unsure if they’d be welcome by—of all people—church-goers.

Your donations set these tables and send trained church members to sit around them. They listen. They share God's word. They offer love and assurance so that addicts feel confident enough to face the spiritual roots beneath the habit. Because someone like you chose to give, the table is there.

Over time, defenses soften. Hope returns. And people who once avoided church begin to look forward to fully participating in the Body of Christ.
